ABOUT WENDY
Professional Background:
Prior to becoming a clinical psychologist, I was a community planner in Washington, DC. In that role, I helped people create better lives for themselves through their built environment – by improving the quality of their homes, neighborhoods, and commercial districts. It was that work that sparked my interest in helping adults improve the quality of their lives through their “internal” worlds. So in 1993 I moved with my family to Portland to pursue my education and career in clinical psychology. Since then I have worked in a variety of clinical settings helping my clients create more satisfying lives for themselves. I now devote my work to my private practice which I opened in 2001.
